Don't get caught out by rail strikes
Recently we’ve seen a huge increase in demand for train replacement taxis at Birmingham International Railway Sation, New Street Station and Moor Street station.
This is due to strikes across major rail networks, however, more strikes are planned so we’re advising everyone that relies on train transport to make alternative arrangements.

When are the new strikes?
First, members of Aslef, the train drivers’ union, are striking at 12 rail companies on Thursday 15 September.
This will be followed by a 24-hour walkout from midday on Monday 26 September until midday on Tuesday 27 September, involving TSSA rail workers at nine companies.
Strikes on 15th September involve the following lines:

- Great Western Railway
- Hull Trains
- LNER
- London Overground
- Northern Trains
- Southeastern
- TransPennine Express
- West Midlands Trains
Strikes starting on 26th September involve the following lines:

- West Midlands Trains
- Avanti West Coast
- c2c
- CrossCountry
- East Midlands Railway
- Great Western Railway
- LNER
- Southeastern
